I also played with some curves and made this lemon block.
I love it. I have never tried curves before but used a fabulous tutorial from Kerry at Verykerryberry and I am really pleased with how they came out - not bad for a first time anyway!

Chevrons and lemons
I managed to get quite a bit done this weekend. Husband took the tinkerbells swimming and I had 3 whole hours of uninterrupted sewing!! I made really good progress on my Chevron quilt but I have to say it has been a hard slog. I am not sure what I was thinking when I started it but I am at last getting to the good bit. It might even look good when it is done.

ReplyDeleteI love the colours you picked for your chevrons - I finally finished my chevrons quilt on Friday and it was worth all of the half square triangles!
